The table above outlines the timing for invitations to our Competitive program, as well as the deadlines to accept this invitation and register your child.  If your child receives an invitation to join a competitive team, a prompt response to either ACCEPT or DECLINE is greatly appreciated, as your family's response may impact other players. 

Please note, as of last year, our acceptance and registration process has changed.  The MVSC fees for playing competitive soccer have not changed, but our registration and fee collection timeline has changed:

1. Comp team invitations sent out through Demosphere, our on-line registration system.
2. Parent must ACCEPT the invitation, and complete the full Demosphere registration process.  No fees will be collected, but US Club Soccer forms and all Waivers must be signed.
3. A Snap!Spend invitation will be sent to the parent who registers their child.  This is our secure banking platform used to collect both registration fees and team fees.
4. Parent must accept the Snap!Spend invite, set up a secure banking connection or credit card payment, and pay $1,500 within 24 hours.  ($500 Registration Fee + $1,000 initial team fee payment.)
5. Your child is not eligible to participate in June pool training until fully registered with fees paid, or other payment arrangements made.

A list of players receiving invitations will be posted online by the date shown, and each participant will be sent an email to accept and register.  Players who accept invitations and register are invited to attend a few optional practices in late May/early June.  The schedule for your age group will be emailed to you upon completion of the registration process.

Initial team rosters will be formed after these June training sessions.

If your child is not invited to join our competitive program and you would like feedback on their tryout assessment, you are welcome to email the Coaches of the cohort to request feedback.  MVSC will post the names and emails of the Coaches responsible for providing feedback to each age group on this webpage by 12:00pm on Friday, May 26.  It may take the coaches up to 72 hours to respond to requests for feedback.

If your child's name is not on the list, we encourage you to register for our Premier Rec League no later than June 1.
